The YT-82460 soldering station is manufactured using ESD-safe technology, which ensures that excess electrostatic charge will not accumulate on the case. Thanks to this, we limit the risk of damage to, for example, sensitive SMD circuits. Heats up in approximately 30 seconds to an operating temperature of 350°C.

The temperature stabilization function allows you to maintain the desired tip temperature under varying heat demand conditions for proper solder joints. The tip, depending on the size of the soldered element and the soldering field, gives off more or less heat, and the device, using the tip temperature sensor built into the heater, constantly reads its real value and compares it with the installed one, then, depending on the needs, increases or decreases the power consumption for maintaining the set temperature value. The best effect of this function is obtained by choosing a tip with an internal diameter as close as possible to the diameter of the heater. We recommend tips with an internal diameter of 4.0 to 4.5 mm.

The device’s hibernation function allows the station to go into standby mode, which automatically reduces the operating temperature to 200°C. Thanks to this, we avoid unnecessary heating of the tip, which significantly extends its service life. The function activation time on the YT-82460 is set to 10 minutes by default.
