Description

A travel adapter adapted to the standards of over 150 countries, with a built-in charger with three USB ports and fast charging technology. The built-in power supply with a total power of 65 W will replace chargers for phones, tablets and even business laptops.

The lock prevents accidental insertion of pins into the housing. The adapter is protected from short circuits by an easily accessible ceramic fuse. The housing is made of durable, non-flammable plastic.

Adapter specifications:

Universal socket with child protection.
Four types of plugs.
Maximum power at 230 V: 1840 W.
Ceramic fuse: 8 A.
Dimensions: 68 x 53 x 52 mm.
Spare fuse included.
Power adapter specifications:

Maximum power: 65 W.
USB-C socket with PD technology (power delivery): 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 20V/3.25A (max 65W).
USB-A socket with QC 3.0 technology (fast charging): 5V/4.5A, 9V/3A, 12V/2.5A, 20V/1.5A (max 30W).
Caution

The adapter does not convert 230V mains voltage to 110V. Devices that are not suitable for operation in the 100-250V AC range may not work properly.

Fast charging technology

Almost all modern mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, support fast charging technology. The most popular of them are PD and QC. In short, this technology allows you to charge batteries with a higher voltage.

A special battery management system communicates with the charger, determines its capabilities and adapts to them. A higher voltage allows charging with a lower current, while maintaining the same or higher power. For example, at 5 V and 3 A, we get a power of 15 W, at 9 V and 2 A, the power will be 18 W.

At first glance, the difference in power is not big. However, you should remember the limitations of both the cable and the battery itself. The higher the current, the more difficult it is for the thin wires of the cable, its plugs and the battery management system. For example, although the charger can provide a current of 3 A at 5 V, the cable and battery management system in the phone usually withstands no more than 2 A, which ultimately corresponds to a power of about 10 W. However, if you increase the voltage, for example, V, then with the same charging current we get 18 W, which means that we will charge the device almost twice as fast.

Modern smartphones are increasingly supplied without chargers. The Yato Universal Travel Adapter is not only an indispensable product for trips abroad, but also a high-quality fast charger with parameters confirmed by many tests, which allows you to safely charge both our smartphones and tablets.
